Leena Doley, APS (DR-2002), has been transferred and posted as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Dhubri district. The Assam government announced the transfer in the interest of public service, with immediate effect.

Doley was serving as SSP, Hailakandi, prior to this posting. She replaces Navin Singh, APS (DR-2004), who has been transferred and posted as SSP (Organized Crime), CID, Assam.

In a related development, Amitava Sinha, APS (DR-1997), who was serving as SSP (Organized Crime), CID, Assam, has been posted as SSP, Hailakandi, succeeding Doley.

The reshuffle was formalized through official notifications issued by the Home and Political Department, Government of Assam.
