Kohima, Jun 14: Two athletes from Nagaland are participating in the 34th Senior National Wushu Championship, which began on Saturday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Wushu players Mankho T. Konyak and Nupa Kiho are representing the state in the 52 kg and 56 kg weight categories, respectively. The Nagaland team is being led by RK Shanti Kumar as the coach and Akhozo as the team manager.

Before their departure on Friday, officials from the Youth Resources & Sports Department interacted with the team and extended their best wishes. President of the Nagaland Wushu Association, Kudecho Khamo, also met the athletes and encouraged them to perform at their best.
