Gangtok, Jun 16: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi on Monday and extended greetings on behalf of the people of Sikkim.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister presented a souvenir, along with a commemorative coin and stamp issued to mark the Golden Jubilee of Sikkim’s statehood. The items commemorate 50 years of Sikkim’s journey as a state of the Indian Union.
Tamang stated that it was a proud moment to share this milestone with the President, highlighting the collective spirit of the people of Sikkim.
