Itanagar, May 31: Several districts of Arunachal Pradesh have been affected by flash floods and landslides following days of continuous heavy rainfall, officials said on Saturday.

In Upper Subansiri district, the Sigin River overflowed, flooding parts of Daporijo, the district headquarters. The severe weather damaged at least 117 houses and impacted vital infrastructure across low-lying areas. Authorities are assessing the damage and coordinating relief efforts.
