Arunachal CM Inspects Infrastructure Development At Tawang Monastery

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday met with the monks of Tawang Monastery, including the Abbot, His Eminence Shedling Tulku Thupten Tendar Rinpoche, to discuss plans for improving infrastructure around the monastery.

The meeting focused on enhancing parking facilities to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims and visitors. The Chief Minister was accompanied by MLA Namgey Tsering, former MLA Tsering Tashi, ZPC Leki Gombu, SCITeG Chairperson Nyamar Karbak, Deputy Commissioner Namgyal Angmo, and Superintendent of Police Dr. D.W. Thungon.

CM Khandu also inspected the ongoing construction of a parking lot and the extension of the monastery’s festival ground to support future events and larger gatherings.
