Agartala, July 19, 2025: In an inspiring feat of endurance and determination, 59-year-old Ajay Saha from Dhaleswar, Agartala successfully completed a solo 4,760-kilometre bicycle journey from Agartala to Leh-Ladakh.

Setting off on May 1, Saha completed the journey in just 60 days, braving challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions.

Saha undertook the journey not just as a test of personal stamina, but with a deeper message for future generations. “Ride a bicycle, stay healthy, protect the environment from pollution, and save money,” was the core message behind his remarkable expedition.

In recognition of his accomplishment, Shreshtha Bhuvan Samajik Sansthan felicitated Saha at a ceremony today. The event was held in the presence of the organization’s founder, Biplab Kanti Bhowmik along with other members and well-wishers.

The organization lauded Saha’s spirit, highlighting his journey as a symbol of determination, health awareness, and environmental consciousness.
