The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday carried out raids at eight premises linked to retired IAS officer Sewali Devi Sharma in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case, officials said.

Sharma, who previously served as the executive chairman-cum-director of the Assam State Council of Educational Research and Training, is under investigation in a money laundering case. The probe is based on an FIR registered by the Assam Police following directions from the Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell.
