Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday announced that the state will accelerate green energy projects, revive stalled initiatives, and promote public-private partnerships.
Speaking at IG Park during Independence Day celebrations, Khandu said the state aims to become a “developed Arunachal” by 2024, coinciding with India’s 100th year of independence, with a focus on renewable energy.
He noted the state’s potential in hydropower and critical minerals, including graphite, limestone, and dolomite, which he said would support solar panels, batteries, and electric mobility for decades to come.
