Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that 21 Bangladeshi nationals were deported from Sribhumi district to Bangladesh.

In a post on social media platform X, Sarma stated that the deportation was carried out around midnight. He added that the process of identifying and deporting individuals who had entered India illegally would continue.
