Kohima, May 14: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday called on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi to discuss the state’s financial status and development priorities.

Rio was accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers T.R. Zeliang and Y. Patton, MLA Achumbemo Kikon, and other members of the delegation.

Taking to social media after the meeting, the Chief Minister said the team apprised the Union Minister of Nagaland’s financial position and emphasized the continued support required from the Centre to advance the state’s development agenda.
