Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang chaired a coordination meeting at Samman Bhawan to review arrangements for the upcoming visit of Home Minister Amit Shah to Sikkim.

The meeting covered logistics, programme outlines, and coordination among departments to ensure smooth execution of the visit. Officials were directed to complete all preparations on time while maintaining Sikkim’s tradition of hospitality. The venue for the events will be finalised later.

During the visit, the Home Minister will attend the Rashtriya Sahkari Sammelan–2025 and participate in the virtual inauguration and foundation stone laying of various development projects aimed at promoting Sikkim’s growth and strengthening the cooperative movement.

The tentative schedule for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Sikkim in November was also reviewed, with emphasis on detailed planning and coordination to ensure seamless execution of all programmes.
