Dimapur Police rescued four kidnapped victims and arrested four accused persons following a swift joint operation carried out on Thursday. The victims, including a man from Patna, Bihar, were abducted from Hotel New Rajasthan Place.

Acting on technical inputs, a joint team comprising personnel from East Police Station, the Special Operations Team, and the Indian Reserve located the suspected hideout at United North Block in the Burma Camp area. The coordinated effort led to the safe rescue of the victims and the arrest of the accused the same day.

According to police, three of the arrested individuals — Saul Chophy, Bento Shohe, and Kavito Yeptho — are linked to the NSCN-IM, while the fourth accused has been identified as Kivipu Zhimo. A case has been registered at East Police Station, and investigation into the matter is underway.
