Security Forces recovered a major cache of arms and warlike stores during a search operation conducted on Monday, November 24, in the Bolneo area, about 5 km from Ningthiching village under Henglep Police Station in Churachandpur district.
Officials said the seized items included seven modified projectile launchers, 11 locally made Pumpi projectile HE bombs, seven country-made single-barrel rifles, two country-made pistols, two pistol magazines, three live pistol rounds, two Baofeng communication handsets, nine bulletproof jackets, six anklets, and nine ammunition pouches.
Security Forces have intensified area domination and combing operations across multiple districts as part of ongoing efforts to stabilise the situation. These operations have led to repeated recovery of arms, ammunition, and communication equipment from various locations.
Meanwhile, the movement of essential supplies along NH-37 remains secure, with 318 vehicles carrying critical commodities travelling safely under tight security protocols. Convoys continue to be deployed in vulnerable stretches to ensure uninterrupted transportation.
Authorities have also set up 112 Nakas and checkpoints across hill and valley districts to maintain heightened vigilance. No detentions were reported during the checks, officials added.
