Agartala, November 29, 2025: A day after Tipra Motha’s massive show of strength in Agartala, party founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarman on Friday directed workers to launch an intensive campaign across all blocks, expressing strong confidence in the organisation’s grassroots support.

Debbarman said the rally drew an overwhelming response despite “multiple attempts” to disrupt or stall the event. He described the turnout as a powerful message from the people, particularly the ‘Tiprasa’ community residing in rural areas. November 27, he noted, holds personal significance as the death anniversary of his father, adding that the public response felt like receiving blessings from an extended family.

He said guests from various Northeastern states were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm at the venue. Debbarman also thanked the police administration for its cooperation and acknowledged support from the DGP, Chief Minister Manik Saha, and senior officials. Many supporters, he added, were unable to reach Agartala due to traffic congestion caused by the crowd.

Declaring that the rally had strengthened his conviction of eventual victory, Debbarman urged party workers to intensify outreach. He called on youth supporters to uphold the message of Thansa and engage with people across political lines including CPI(M), IPFT, Janajati Morcha and Congress to explain Tipra Motha’s objectives.

“This is the time to meet people, hold meetings and expand our movement,” he told party workers, stressing that the fight for rights must continue with renewed determination.
