Nagaland CM Unveils Book “Journey Of The Hornbill Festival” In Kohima

A book titled Journey of the Hornbill Festival: Through the Lens of Kohima Press Club, tracing the history of the Hornbill Festival since its inception in 2000, was released at Kisama on Tuesday. The publication was formally unveiled by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

Rio congratulated members of the Kohima Press Club on the release and described the book as an important documentation of the festival’s evolution. He appreciated the media fraternity for its commitment to preserving the event’s narrative and said he looked forward to reading the book.

Edited by Alice Yhoshü and Vishü Rita Krocha, the book has been published by PenThrill as its 113th title with funding support from the Department of Tourism. The book is priced at ₹1,500.
