Agartala, December 9, 2025: A 20-year-old youth identified as Kuflang Noatia lost his life in a tragic road accident near Garji outpost late Monday night. Family members said he leaves behind a three-month-old child, now deprived of a father’s care forever.

Police sources informed that the accident took place when Kuflang’s motorcycle collided head-on with an Eeco vehicle while he was returning home from a local fair. He died instantly at the scene. Another youth accompanying him sustained severe injuries and was rushed to hospital, where doctors described his condition as critical.

Police reached the spot shortly after the incident, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. Following completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family. Authorities confirmed that the offending vehicle has been seized, and investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the collision.

The sudden death has cast a pall of grief over the locality, with residents mourning the loss of the young father.
