A roundtable meeting between the Government of Nagaland and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh was held on Wednesday at Kisama as part of the Hornbill Festival 2025. The discussion focused on strengthening inter-state partnership and identifying areas for long-term collaboration between the two states.
Officials from both sides discussed measures to improve cross-border cooperation, enhance market access, and support enterprise development. The meeting highlighted the importance of building inter-state value chains, facilitating B2B and B2G linkages, and creating opportunities for artisans and entrepreneurs through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and institutional partnerships.
Both governments reiterated that deeper cooperation is essential for expanding sustainable economic opportunities and positioning the Northeast as a culturally distinct and competitive investment destination.
During the meeting, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh signed a partnership agreement covering sectors such as music, tourism cooperation, art and culture, industries and commerce, business exchanges, youth and sports, and agriculture and allied activities. The agreement aims to provide a structured framework for joint initiatives and knowledge-sharing.
As the State Partner for the Hornbill Festival 2025, Arunachal Pradesh also showcased its products at Kisama, highlighting the state’s cultural heritage and entrepreneurial potential.
