Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Friday inaugurated a Multi-Level Parking facility along with an Inter-State and Inter-District Agriculture and Economic Transportation Hub at the Senapati District Headquarters.
The newly inaugurated hub, with a capacity to accommodate 147 vehicles, is expected to significantly enhance connectivity, streamline trade operations, and boost economic activities in the region.
During his visit, the Chief Minister also inaugurated Multi-Purpose Community Buildings at Khabaduikung and Sangkumei villages. These facilities are aimed at promoting social interaction, cultural engagement, and strengthening community bonds among residents.
In addition, Yumnam Khemchand laid the foundation stones for 69 Anganwadi Centre buildings under the SASCI scheme. These centres are expected to play a crucial role in early childhood care and pre-school education, while also supporting working parents.
The Chief Minister stated that the initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to inclusive development, grassroots empowerment, and building a more prosperous Manipur.
