Manipur, May 18: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Sunday inspected the ongoing improvement work of the Imphal-Saikul road and reviewed the progress of the project launched earlier this year.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister was briefed by Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department Chongtham Bishwachandra on the present status of the road development work. He directed officials concerned to ensure timely completion of the project while maintaining proper quality and standards.

On his way to the inspection site, the Chief Minister was welcomed by local clubs and residents of Pangei and Khundrakpam areas, who also highlighted various grievances and the need for improvement of basic amenities in the locality.
Interacting with the residents, the Chief Minister thanked the people for the warm reception and assured them that all possible development measures for public welfare would be considered.
