Aizawl, May 20: The Board of Trustees of the Chief Minister’s Charitable Trust, chaired by Chief Minister Lalduhoma, convened its Annual Meeting on Wednesday at the Chief Minister’s Office.

The Board resolved to open the Trust as a channel for Government Departments, Societies, NGOs, and individuals to receive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support. The meeting reviewed the Trust’s financial status for the previous year and confirmed appointments for the Financial Year 2025–26, naming R. Lalrodingi as Chief Executive Officer and Raymond Lalmuanate as Secretary.

The Trustees emphasized the need to secure registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) to enable the Trust to legally accept donations from abroad and agreed to pursue the matter. They also decided to collaborate with the Mizoram Corporate Social Responsibility Cell wherever possible.

It was further agreed that Government Departments requiring an implementing agency for CSR projects may utilize the Trust, while Societies, NGOs, and individuals receiving CSR support may also engage the Trust as their implementing partner.
