The participants included 50 girl students and 30 boy students.
The initiative aimed to equip young students with practical self-defence skills while promoting physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and personality development. During the training programme, participants underwent intensive instruction in Krav Maga techniques, situational awareness, threat assessment, personal safety measures, and effective response mechanisms during emergency situations.

Apart from self-defence training, the students also took part in physical conditioning sessions, confidence-building activities, teamwork exercises, and leadership development programmes designed to strengthen mental resilience and enhance overall character development.
The capsule course concluded on June 1 with a closing ceremony attended by faculty members of Ambedkar College and representatives of Assam Rifles. A major highlight of the event was a live demonstration of Krav Maga techniques by the trainees, who showcased the skills and practical response methods they had acquired during the course.
The performance reflected the enthusiasm, dedication, and proficiency developed by the participants and drew appreciation from all those present. The successful completion of the capsule course underscored Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to foster self-reliance, confidence, and leadership among the youth while contributing to the holistic development of communities across the region.
