The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday released a list of its candidates for all 60 assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh.
As per release, Chief Minister Pema Khandu will be contesting from Mukto seat, MLA Mutchu Mithi from Roing, Arunachal Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mama Natung from Seppa West( ST), Topin Ete from Along West (ST), Tseten Chombay from Kalanktang among others.
The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met on 11th March, under the presidentship of Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, as reported.
Meeting to approve the names for the ensuing General Elections to the Legislative Assembly ofArunachal Pradesh was reportedly attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of Defence, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Minister of Home Affairs, and all other members of the Central Election Committee of the BJP.
Reportedly, assembly polls in the Arunachal are held along with Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP had won 41 seats in the 2019 assembly polls, as per reports.
