Shillong, July 31: A Class 12 student was found dead in his hostel room at the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, identified as Hafizul Islam, was a student of Vision 50 Academy, a coaching institute. His body was found hanging inside his hostel room, sparking concerns about the circumstances surrounding his death.
While sources close to the development suggest that Islam may have taken his own life, authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of death. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
