Agartala, December 23, 2024: Tripura’s former Chief Minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb voiced strong criticism against the opposition during the inauguration of a blood donation camp organized by the Mobile Cow Breeding Workers Association under ‘Mukhyamantri Unnat Godhan Prakalp’.

While addressing the blood donation camp at Battala in Agartala city, MP Deb said “There is no alternative to blood donation. Human service is the real religion, and blood donation is the donation of life

He expressed his gratitude to the association members for organizing such a social welfare program. He praised the generosity of those who work for minimum wages and voluntarily came to donate blood, highlighting their selflessness.

Deb, who comes from a humble background, took a dig at the Congress party, saying, “When ordinary family boys enter politics, Congress does not like them to do family politics. The boys of ordinary families do not do family politics like the Congress.”

He accused the Congress of handing over Tripura to the CPIM due to hereditary succession, resulting in 25 years of CPIM rule marked by corruption.

“If Union Home Minister Amit Shah had not sent Biplab Kumar Deb to Tripura, the state would not have been free from the CPIM yet,” Deb asserted. He credited Shah’s intervention for liberating Tripura from CPIM rule and bringing about positive changes in the state.

The blood donation camp saw a significant turnout, with many individuals from various walks of life participating in the noble cause. Deb’s remarks highlighted the importance of community service and the role of political leadership in driving social change. The event highlighted the ongoing efforts to promote blood donation and support healthcare initiatives in Tripura.
