Indian mountaineer Kabak Yano from Arunachal Pradesh has successfully reached the summit of Mount Aconcagua in Argentina, the highest peak in South America at 22,831 feet, as part of her ambitious 7-Summit Mountaineering Expedition.
The 27-year-old’s achievement adds another milestone to her journey of endurance, courage, and determination. Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) congratulated Yano on her accomplishment, praising her indomitable spirit and describing her success as an inspiration for the youth of the state.
Governor Parnaik had formally flagged off Yano’s expedition from Lok Bhavan, Itanagar, on 28th July last year, in the presence of State Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Kento Jini, wishing her success for the challenging global mission.
