The construction of Arunachal Pradesh’s first stay cable bridge is underway over the River Tawang Chu along the Lhou–Mukto Road in Tawang district. Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced the development on Friday through his official Facebook page.
The 65-meter-long steel composite bridge, being executed by the Public Works Department (PWD), is expected to significantly improve all-weather connectivity in the region. The project also marks a step forward in extending modern infrastructure to remote areas of the state.
