Heavy Rainfall In Arunachal Pradesh And Tripura: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported heavy rainfall at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura during the past 24 hours ending at 0830 hours IST on June 14.

Similar rainfall activity was also observed in several other regions, including Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam.

Thunderstorms accompanied by squally or gusty winds were recorded in multiple states. Wind speeds reaching 60–90 kmph were reported at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, West Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Gusty winds in the range of 30–59 kmph were reported from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Saurashtra & Kutch, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, as well as parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Gujarat Region, Vidarbha, Marathwada, and Konkan.
