Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh as a landmark event for the state and the nation.
Addressing a gathering at Indira Gandhi Park, Rijiju described the occasion as both “sacred and historic,” coinciding with the launch of next-generation GST reforms.
Rijiju emphasized the significance of introducing these reforms from Arunachal Pradesh, the easternmost state where the first sunlight touches the country.
The minister said the reforms would bring substantial benefits to millions of poor citizens nationwide and hailed the move as a historic gift to the nation during the festival of Navratri .
