Assam Rifles conducted an operation in the general area of Zawngling in Siaha on May 7, resulting in the apprehension of three individuals, including two Myanmar nationals.

During the operation, security personnel recovered Indian currency amounting to ₹54,35,000. Officials said the recovered cash along with the apprehended individuals were handed over to Tuipang Police Station in Siaha district for further investigation and legal action.

According to officials, the operation was carried out based on specific inputs.
