Arunachal’s Mariam Longri Wins Rajnigandha Pearls Miss Goodness Ambassador Title At Femina Miss India

Arunachal Pradesh contestant Mariam Longri won the Rajnigandha Pearls Miss Goodness Ambassador title at the awards night of the 61st Femina Miss India.

The award was presented by Ritu Raj Gupta and the sash was conferred by Celina Jaitly. She also received a cash prize of ₹25,000.

According to organisers, the sub-contest recognises qualities such as compassion, empathy, and commitment to social responsibility. Longri was selected based on her engagement with social causes and her ability to connect with meaningful initiatives.

The awards night featured the Top 30 state winners, with several sub-contest titles announced to acknowledge individual strengths during the competition.

Longri previously won the 16th Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast in 2018, becoming one of the youngest winners of the title. She completed her Class 12 from Donyi Polo School in Itanagar in the same year.

She is the youngest of nine siblings and comes from a family where her father is a retired inspector and her mother is associated with an NGO. She has also been involved in encouraging education, community service, and personal development among young women in Arunachal Pradesh.

The grand finale of the pageant is scheduled to be held on April 18.
