Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Tuesday emphasized the important role ex-servicemen can play in shaping the future of the nation by sharing their experiences with younger generations.

Speaking at the programme ‘Rishte Sainik Se’, organized to brief veterans and their families on welfare schemes and facilities, Acharya lauded the dedication and sacrifices of former armed forces personnel in safeguarding the country.

He said the discipline, courage, and life lessons that ex-servicemen carry can serve as a strong source of motivation for youth, inspiring them to actively contribute to nation-building efforts.
