Dr. L. Angshim Dangshawa, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong, chaired a coordination meeting today at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Tamenglong Headquarters, to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming 18th Orange Festival.

The meeting was attended by key district officials, including SP Tamenglong Lanmiyo Luikham, SDO Tamenglong D. Meidinbui (MCS), CEO ADC Tamenglong Kachamthai F. Gangmei (MCS), DFO Tamenglong Kh. Hitler, and various other district-level officers.

Chairman of the festival, Dr. Dangshawa, announced that the Orange Festival will be held from December 17 to 19, and urged all officials to work diligently for its grand success.

Altogether, 22 sub-committees have been formed to oversee different aspects of the festival’s preparation and organisation.

This year’s three-day festival will feature a wide range of events, including a Best Orange Grower contest, Orange Queen contest, camping and adventure activities at tourist spots, musical nights, “Tamenglong Got Talent”, and a seminar for orange growers.
