Churachandpur, Apr 14: The body of an unidentified woman was recovered from the Muolvaiphei village area in Manipur’s Churachandpur district on Monday, police said.

After receiving information, a police team reached the spot and began an investigation. A case of murder has been registered under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The body has been sent to the district hospital morgue for post-mortem examination. Further details regarding the incident are awaited as the investigation is ongoing.
