Manipur: State Process Lab For District Master Trainers Launched In Churachandpur

The State Process Lab (SPL) for District Master Trainers under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan was inaugurated today at the DTC Training Hall, Tuibong, Churachandpur district. The initiative is being facilitated by the Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Government of India.

The week-long programme, scheduled from September 15 to 18, 2025, brings together District Master Trainers from Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts to strengthen grassroots governance capacity. It aims to build a cadre of responsive governance leaders for effective implementation of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan across tribal regions.

The inaugural session began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a keynote address from P. Haokip, Under Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He highlighted the transformative potential of the initiative in bridging governance gaps and fostering inclusive development in tribal communities.

Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, Dharun Kumar S., in his special address, urged participants to serve as catalysts of change. He stressed that the programme was not merely a training exercise but an opportunity to empower individuals to uplift communities by promoting awareness of government schemes and development opportunities.

Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, Ms. Mannuamching, also spoke as a special guest, emphasizing the programme’s role in promoting holistic tribal development at the grassroots level. She said the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, through its Governance Process Labs, was equipping government offices with structured training to become effective change leaders.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Thangboi Gangte, ADC, Churachandpur, followed by a group photo session.

The launch was attended by ADCs, district-level officers, master trainers, and prospective district master trainers from Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts.
