The Village Vision 2030 and Village Action Plan (VAP) for 26 villages in Kamjong District under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan were finalized on Friday. The planning exercise, facilitated by the District Nodal Officer, brought together Block Nodal Officers, Master Trainers, officials from various line departments, and the UDCRMS team. The session was chaired by Shri H. L. Jain, ADC Kamjong.
The deliberations focused on consolidating village vision statements, identifying developmental gaps, and aligning sectoral priorities with departmental programmes to ensure effective and coordinated implementation. Key thematic areas discussed included infrastructure, livelihoods, education, health, natural resource management, and local governance.
Village representatives actively contributed to the discussions, voicing support for the collective development vision. Participants underscored the importance of scheme convergence and community participation to ensure sustainable outcomes.
The finalized plans will serve as a strategic roadmap for inclusive, targeted, and time-bound development across Kamjong District, strengthening local governance and advancing the district’s shared Vision 2030 goals.
