Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Meghalaya successfully intercepted a smuggling attempt on December 27, recovering contraband goods worth more than 4 lakh rupees. The seized items included liquor, a motorcycle, blankets, and garlic, which were intended for illegal transport into Bangladesh.
The operation was based on specific intelligence inputs, with BSF troops intercepting the smuggled goods near the India-Bangladesh border. No arrests have been made so far, and authorities have initiated an investigation to identify the individuals behind the attempt.
