Shillong, May 30: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Saturday inaugurated the Integrated Hospitality & Sports Complex at the JN Sports Complex in Polo, Shillong. Developed under the Meghalaya Eco-Tourism Infrastructure Development Project with support from the New Development Bank, the facility is expected to serve as a key venue for the 39th National Games to be hosted by the state.
The Chief Minister said the project reflects the state’s increased investment in sports infrastructure, noting that Meghalaya’s annual sports expenditure has risen significantly since 2018. He dedicated the facility to the youth of the state.
