A preparatory meeting was held on Friday at the DC Conference Hall in Aizawl to discuss arrangements for the upcoming Army Recruitment Rally scheduled from August 7 to 9 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Mualpuia. The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Zoramsiama Hmar.

Representatives from the Army Recruitment Office, 17 government departments, and members of the Salem Veng Local Council and Young Mizo Association (YMA) were present.

The meeting focused on ensuring the smooth conduct of the rally, with detailed discussions on logistics, coordination, and departmental responsibilities. Tasks were allotted to concerned departments to facilitate effective implementation.

Concluding the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner thanked all participants for their cooperation and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with commitment.
