Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), organised the unveiling of the official poster, mascot, and theme song for the 9th Capt N Kengurüse MVC Memorial Football Tournament 2025 at Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, on 6 October 2025.

The event was attended by Abu Metha, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Chairman of the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland, Vice President of the Athletics Federation of India, and Secretary General of the Nagaland Olympics Association, along with Dr. Tseilhoutou Rhutso, Member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

The ceremony marked a celebration of sportsmanship and paid tribute to Capt N Kengurüse, MVC, whose legacy continues to inspire the youth of Nagaland and the North East region.
