Gangtok, April 23: Prem Singh Tamang on Thursday conducted an inspection of venues and reviewed preparations ahead of the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sikkim.

According to an official statement, the Chief Minister was accompanied by ministers, MLAs, the Chief Secretary, the Director General of Police, secretaries of various departments, political secretaries, and other officials during the inspection.

During the review, instructions were issued to concerned departments to complete all necessary arrangements within the stipulated time. The focus was on ensuring security measures, coordination among departments, and logistical preparedness for the scheduled programmes.

Officials were also directed to ensure the smooth conduct of all events during the Prime Minister’s visit.
