Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur has accepted an invitation to attend the Maghey Sankranti Mela in Jorethang as the chief guest. The invitation was extended by Madan Cintury, the Area MLA of Zoom-Salghari and Chief Patron of the Jorethang Maghey Sankranti Mela Committee, along with other executive members, during a meeting at Raj Bhavan.
The Maghey Sankranti Mela is scheduled to take place on January 14, 2025. Governor Mathur expressed his best wishes for the success of the event and the future endeavors of the committee.
