Agartala, May 04, 2026: Following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in the Assam Legislative Assembly elections, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha extended his heartfelt congratulations to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Taking to social media, Dr. Saha remarked that the people of Assam have once again placed their trust in development, progress, and good governance. He described the mandate as a significant stride towards the broader vision of a “developed India.”

The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership and acknowledged the strategic guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He further appreciated the relentless efforts of BJP National President Nitin Nabin in steering the party to victory.

Dr. Saha also lauded the dynamic leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma and commended the contributions of Assam BJP State President Dilip Saikia in securing the electoral win.
