Agartala, June 24, 2025: In a heart-wrenching incident, three teenagers tragically drowned in the Matri Palli area of Badharghat in Agartala. The deceased have been identified as Bobby Shukla Das, Subhajit Dey and Subham Deb.

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha met the bereaved families during the Chief Minister’s Samipeshu programme on Tuesday and expressed his deep condolences.

As a gesture of support, the Chief Minister handed over financial assistance of ₹4 lakh to the families of each of the deceased. He assured that the state government stands beside the grieving families during this time of immense loss.
