Agartala, June 03, 2026: In a significant outreach aimed at strengthening collaboration with the state government, the General Manager of Tripura Gramin Bank, Anup Kumar Saha, paid a courtesy visit to the State Government Secretariat and met key members of the Council of Ministers.
During the visit, Saha held separate meetings with Industries & Commerce Minister Santana Chakma and Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma. The interactions were described as cordial and productive, focusing on enhancing cooperation in areas critical to the state’s development.
Discussions centred on expanding financial inclusion, boosting rural development initiatives, and promoting entrepreneurship across Tripura, particularly in underserved and tribal regions. The role of institutional banking support in enabling livelihood generation and small enterprise growth also featured prominently.
The meetings underscored the importance of coordinated efforts between the banking sector and the government to accelerate socio-economic progress. Tripura Gramin Bank highlighted its ongoing initiatives aimed at improving access to banking services and fostering inclusive growth.
