With the aim of promoting a healthy community and a stronger nation, Albert Ekka Brigade, under the aegis of Red Shield Division, Spear Corps, organised comprehensive health outreach activities in Tripura on 07 April 2026 on the occasion of World Health Day. The initiative highlighted the importance of collective responsibility towards health and overall well-being among all sections of society.

A health awareness lecture was conducted at APS Agartala, West Tripura district, focusing on preventive healthcare, personal hygiene, balanced nutrition, and lifestyle diseases. The session highlighted the importance of early prevention, regular health check-ups, and informed decision-making among students to ensure long-term well-being and a healthy lifestyle.

Simultaneously, a Basic Life Support (BLS) lecture-cum hands-on training was organised at Rabindranath Thakur Mahabidyala, Bisalgarh, Sepahijala district. The training covered essential life-saving techniques including CPR, use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and effective emergency response procedures. Students were given practical exposure to handle critical situations with confidence and efficiency during emergencies.

The practical sessions enhanced participants’ confidence and equipped them with vital skills to respond effectively during emergencies. The initiative reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to community welfare, health awareness, and nation building, while fostering responsibility towards creating a healthier, safer, and more resilient society.
