Vice-President Radhakrishnan Praises Mizoram’s Young Talent Esther Lalduhawmi At cultural Programme

C. P. Radhakrishnan attended a cultural evening at Lok Bhavan on Friday, where he praised young singer Esther Lalduhawmi for her rendition of the song “Bharat Ki Beti”.

The event was hosted by V. K. Singh during the Vice-President’s visit to Mizoram. Esther, a recipient of the PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, performed the patriotic song as part of the programme.

The cultural evening also featured performances by the Octave Mizo Choir along with traditional dance presentations showcasing the cultural heritage of the state.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-President said that India’s strength lies in its unity in diversity and noted the role of people from Mizoram in the country’s development. He also acknowledged the hospitality of the people of the state during his first visit to Mizoram after assuming office.

Lalduhoma and other guests were present at the event.
