In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, the Aizawl Battalion of Assam Rifles along with the Excise & Narcotics Department launched a joint operation on Friday and recovered a massive stash of heroin worth over Rs. 3 Crores from Selesih in Aizawl.

Based on specific inputs, the paramilitary troop in association with the sleuths of Narcotics Department recovered the contraband substances from the possession of three Myanmar nationals.

The seized contraband items were handed over to the Excise & Narcotics Department of Aizawl.
