Guwahati, August 3: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati on Saturday, offering prayers and performing pooja for the well-being and development of Haryana.

After offering prayers, Saini expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to pray to Maa Kamakhya, saying, “I pray for the well-being and development of the state and the entire country to move ahead towards a Vikasit Bharat under the leadership of PM Modi.”

Saini praised Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s efforts to move the state forward, saying, “I pray for his bright future as well.”

Saini asserted that the BJP will win the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, forming a double-engine government in the state under PM Modi’s leadership.

The elections are scheduled to take place on or before October 2024, with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) jointly contesting the polls.

In the 2019 Haryana Assembly polls, the BJP won 40 seats, the Congress won 31 seats, the JJP won 10 seats, and the INLD won 1 seat.
