Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh met with Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhawan on Tuesday. On social media platform X, the Chief Minister shared, “Deliberated on various matters concerning the welfare of all communities, and the ongoing efforts to maintain peaceful coexistence and harmony in the state.”

This was the first official meeting between Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and Governor Acharya since the latter assumed office as the Governor of Manipur on July 30.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the Governor on the state’s law and order situation, overall security concerns, follow-up measures, and other administrative matters.
