In a significant blow to the narcotics trade, Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime), Aizawl, conducted a successful operation, seizing Heroin No. 4 worth Rs 24.15 lakhs from the general area of Zemabawk Kawn Veng II, Aizawl District, Mizoram, on November 12, 2024. During the operation, one individual was apprehended and taken into custody.

The seized heroin and the apprehended individual were handed over to the Special Narcotics Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
